The Padasjoki Savings Bank Foundation distributes grants and subsidies to projects that promote the principles set by the Foundation.
Grant decisions are made by the Foundation’s Board.
The grant application period is continuous and the Board processes applications six times a year on average.
The application and its attachments must be completed and submitted to the agent approximately three weeks before the board meeting. The board may, at its discretion, postpone the consideration of applications to later meetings.
Subsidy amounts are not defined in advance, but each project is assessed and decided on separately.
The applicant can be a private person or an organization.
The project must be of general benefit.
The Foundation does not award grants for congress and seminar trips
The recipient of the grant is notified of the awarded grants. In addition, they will be announced on the Foundation’s website, säästöpankki.fi/helmisp, and possibly in other communications.
Unawarded grants are notified to the applicant, the decision is not justified.
The awarded grant is paid in a separately agreed manner or retrospectively according to the progress of the project / after the end of the project, when the project plan of the project has been found to have been implemented based on a report or other confirmation.
If necessary, the Foundation’s representative will provide more information about the applications.
If you apply for a grant in English, please include a short summary in Finnish explaining how the grant will be used.
Acts/activities that tangibly benefit Päijät-Häme province qualify for the grant, and the grant is distributed to the region of Päijät-Häme province. The grant is primarily awarded to a natural person or entity. The grant recipient must be registered and live permanently in Päijät-Häme province. The entity must be registered in a municipality belonging to the province of Päijät-Häme, and the activity must take place mainly in the province of Päijät-Häme.
The Pearl of the Year grant applications are surveyed annually in spring and winter, send your application in February-March.
The grant is awarded by a committee formed by the board of the Padasjoki Savings Bank Foundation, which can, if necessary, request an expert in the focus area of the award to be selected for the committee.
